Bunco...and the recipes!! :)

"Buncoing is a word...May I be allowed to illustrate? It's root, BUN, originates from the Latin BUN meaning BUNch of wild and crazy chicks who get together every month to laugh their BUNs off!! (Found on the Real Academia Espanola)" Sonia Flores

September Bunco Babes!!

Well, once again, Bunco has come and gone! It was great getting together and letting loose with the girls. Our Biggest Loser was Kareena...most Buncos was Ginger, Most Wins was April, Traveling was Sonia, and the winner of the draw was...I can't remember. Haha...

As promised, I am putting the recipes here for you all to try. Thanks for being my guinea pigs!! :)

Also, I got most of these recipes from www.kellyscornerrecipes.blogspot.com. You should check out her blog! It is AWESOME!!! :) Thanks Kelly!!

Bunco Buns
1 pkg. of 24 party rolls (or 2 pkgs. of 12 Sarah Lee Dinner Rolls-that's what I used)
1/2 stick butter, melted
4TBS. Poppy Seeds
4TBS. Mustard
4TBS. Worcestershire Sauce
Sliced Ham
Swiss Cheese

Melt Butter add mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds. Use a pastry brush and add this to both sides of the bread and line with ham and swiss cheese.
Roll into foil and put in oven on 350 for 5 to 10 min. Serve warm.

Spinach Dip

1 pkg. frozen spinach
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. Monterrey Jack cheese
6 oz. Parmesan Cheese
1 can Rotel

Cook spinach according to package. Add cheeses and melt in microwave 3-5 min. until liquid form. Add rotel and mix together.
Serve with crackers or bagel chips or melba toasts.

Goldfish

1 Gallon Pepperidge Farms Goldfish
1 pkg. dry Ranch dressing mix
1 tsp. seasoning salt
1 tsp. cayenne pepper (I used about 1 and half)
1 tsp. dill weed
1 tsp. lemon pepper
1/3 cup salad oil

Mix oil with goldfish in a BIG bowl. Stir in spices and mix to coat well. Store in plastic bag or Tupperware!! (Thanks Shelly for this recipe!)

Cherry Limeade Punch

(Tastes like Sonic Cherry Limeades to me!)
1 can frozen limeade concentrate
1 bottle Sprite (Chilled)
1 jar maraschino cherries with juice
1 lime (to cut up for garnish)

Cake balls
These are fantastic!

Any kind of cake mix and frosting.
( I used Choc. and choc. last night. Will make Red Velvet with cream cheese frosting next time!)
1 pkg. White or Chocolate Almond Bark

Make cake according to directions. After its baked, crumble in a bowl and cool. Add frosting and mix it all together. Roll into balls and heat up almond bark. Dip balls into Almond bark and let harden on wax paper! Yummo!!!
